@zelena @bentossell Might be a little trickier than I thought. The GIF encoder (https://github.com/antimatter15/...) doesn't support transparency for GIFS. Will look around for other solutions.

Goooooooooood morning Product Hunt! I'm Scott and this is my latest make which I've jokingly dubbed the "Ugliest MVP I've ever shared!" Thank you so much @bentossell for hunting Emojifs! I launched Emojifs (yup ... that's a J not a G) after seeing a Tweet by @levelsio sharing some code that allowed you to easily make animated GIFs from emojis. (H/T to @sarah__jackson for the initial suggestion that put Pieter to work coding a solution) I'll be honest with you, all I did was make a super simple interface that utilizes 99.9999% of the code Pieter shared on Twitter. This interface sped up the GIF creation process for me and I decided to share it with the rest of the maker-community. BTW ... I still pronounce it as GIF but emogifs.com was already registered so I went with emojifs.com. I'll be around all day so if you have any suggestions on how I can improve Emojifs or just want to say "wow ... this website makes Elon Musk's 'Not a Flamethrower' look like a welding torch dressed up in a paintball gun" drop me a note in the comments. Thanks!

@taxodapp I have to say coding this MVP was so tough for this very reason. I kept creating more and more GIFs. I probably could've cut my dev time by 75% if I could've stopped gif making.

Playing around now. On mobile I’m not able to save it. Not sure if it’s my own user error or a glitch. I’m ready to make 58482737372 emoji GIFs, so will be on standby. 🎉❤️😝

@prsarahevans morning! If you are currently unable to save the GIF to your phone, can you try the "copy" feature? If you are using and iPhone, you should be able to see "copy" pop up in the same menu as "save to phone" Let me know if that worked.
