Humans suck at accountability, so we built an app that tracks your work sessions and distractions π: - start work sessions and check off tasks while Echo gives you video-game like notifications and warns you when you get distracted - Talk to Echo, it'll create tasks and projects for you - get stock market style productivity and distraction stats - Echo gives you personal recommendations based on your data

@dennisgescuΒ Competing with your friends to see who is more locked in?? Now that sounds like a feature that could actually push you to stay focused. For the people that actually want to get sh*t done, I know nothing motivates you more than the spirit of competition. You're not alone in this game we all play that we call life, so why not have an app to hold you accountable to the goals you set, and compete with your friends to push yourselves to change your lives for the better ;) - Vlad (another one of the Echo co-founders)
I think voice is the app interaction modality of the future. The 2000s had the mouse and keyboard, the 2010s had touch. Now in the AI era, we need the most natural way to interact with another intelligence, and it's pretty evident to me that's going to be voice, just like humans do with one another.
Reducing friction to near zero changes not just how we use apps moving forward, but how often and efficiently we engage with them. To me, the fact that you can have an assistant that you can walk through your goals with, or even just tell what tasks you have for the day/week, is INCREDIBLY useful in reducing how much time you tend to waste on a given day.
That's why we built this app. Reduce friction, don't waste time planning, stay accountable to the tasks you set, execute, execute, speed, SPEED, SPEED. π«‘π«‘
If you've been waiting for a sign to get back in the trenches... this is it.
It's always been easier to win when you have a tool on your side helping you.

Looks great, the competing against your friends feature would definitely be cool
I relate to this more than I expected. Most productivity tools show numbers, but they do not really force you to reflect on where your focus actually went during the day. Tracking work sessions alongside distractions feels like a more honest way to look at productivity, especially for founders and solo builders.
I also like that the product does not take itself too seriously while still solving a real problem. Curious how you plan to evolve the feedback over time so it stays useful and does not fade into background noise.
Nice work on shipping this, and wishing you a solid launch day.
Hey Dennis,
Following up here. Productivity tools live or die by how clearly they promise less cognitive load, and that message could surface earlier on the page.
I made a few notes that might help sharpen that story. Let me know.
