I'm fascinated by this trend toward digital celebrities (I wrote about this recently), a fantastic example of how technology and culture collide.
Curious to hear other peoples' perspective on this. When will we see one of these personalities hit the billboard top 100? Will we see more of these creations perform at live events? What are some of your favorite characters?
@rrhoover I have a lot of thoughts on this as you know. To answer one of your questions, I'm a fan of Galaxia (instagram.com/galaxia.gram) as it pushes a few societal boundaries and forces some big questions on us. I also really enjoy the aesthetic of Perl (instagram.com/perl.www). I think we'll get live events once some real tech teams infiltrate these markets, as right now the back-end of these celebrities is fairly primitive, time-consuming, and not that technologically advanced.
