What inspired it: at my day job I deal with colleagues who have a very flexible relationship with boundaries: "quick questions" that eat two hours, messages at 11pm, your work somehow presented as their idea. Some actions clearly deserve punishment, but HR doesn't approve of actual hexes. So I built the next best thing.
What it does: cursed.boo lets you officially curse someone. Enter their name, write what they did, pick a punishment (3 days of diarrhea is a crowd favorite 💀), and send them the link. They open it and receive a very official curse notice. 100% fake, 100% harmless.
How it evolved: it started as a quick joke, but I quickly realized a curse service can turn into a harassment tool. So every curse now goes through LLM moderation that keeps things funny, not mean. I'm also making a short cartoon for each of the 20 punishments. The first one is in the gallery above.
