No more finding the form, printing it out, filling it out correctly (half the battle!), attaching your receipts, faxing, or mailing. It's super straightforward. Here's how to submit a claim with Goodbill: 1. Take a photo of your insurance card. 2. Take a photo of your receipt. 3. Add some health plan information, like member information, address, phone number (in case the insurer needs to contact you). 4. Sign & submit. We automate all the form filling, packaging, and mailing / faxing (yes, many insurers still rely on fax machines). What's this all about? The Biden administration now requires health insurance companies to reimburse their privately-insured members for up to 8 over-the-counter COVID tests per plan member per month purchased on or after January 15, 2022. For some households, that can be a lot of money. Think: a family of four may be testing a couple times per week, depending on their risk profile, coming out to about $384 per month. All of that may be reimbursable! The problem is that for many insurers it's a total hassle to file claims. We built this product to remove a lot of the friction from the process, enabling people to file claims in a 21st century way (from your phone!). We hope this saves you time and money!
