Couples App: Lumo

What inspired you to build this? I was using AI to reflect on my own relationship, but it always felt biased and one-sided. It helped me vent, but not really understand each other. I wanted something that could sit between two people, not take sides, and actually help both feel heard. What problem were you trying to solve? Most relationship tools are either advice-heavy, therapy-like, or single-perspective. Real conflicts happen between two people. The problem was creating a neutral space where couples can talk through hard things without escalating, blaming, or shutting down. How did your approach or process evolve while working on this launch? At first, Lumo was more about insights and analysis. But through testing, I realized the real value is in live, guided conversations. So the focus shifted to simplicity, emotional safety, and trust. The launch itself became founder-led, because people needed to understand why this exists before caring about features.
