Hi, hunters! 👋🏽 I’m Bonni and I’m excited to launch Content Oyster, a content-as-a-service subscription offering UX writing and content design at scale and on demand for startups, agencies, and enterprises. I’ve worked for tech companies as both a UX writer and content designer and have first-hand experience with teams that were tied down with: ❌ too many projects ❌ rushed deadlines ❌ lack of clarity or direction ❌ not enough product writers It led to uninspired, unpolished work and burned out teams 100% of the time. I believe in a better way to work, which is why I created Content Oyster—to unburden product teams, create better content, and get them moving fast again. 🤔 What is Content Oyster? Content Oyster is a UX writing agency with subscription plans where users can benefit from unlimited content requests, a custom portal to upload files, chat with us directly, make payments, and get status updates on their work. The best part? You can pause or cancel your subscription anytime—simply log into your portal to do so. 👇🏽 Who is this for? Content Oyster is ideal for startups, agencies, and growing businesses that need regular product writing, in-app or web communication, and a cohesive flow with a focus on content. From error and success messages, to signup flows, to information architecture, our goal is to help you craft a seamless experience for the people using your product. 💼 How does it work? Once you sign up, you’ll get a welcome email with a link to your dashboard where you can create content requests. We’ll work on it and send it to you for feedback. You’re either good to use it as is—just mark it complete—or request revisions until we get it right. You can create as many requests as you like, and we’ll work on them 1-2 at a time depending on your plan. 👟 How can I get started? Start working with Content Oyster in 1 of 2 ways: - Subscribe now and make your first content request. - Book a call for more information or to discuss your company’s unique needs. Thanks for being a part of Content Oyster’s launch and journey. Feel free to book a call, choose a plan to create a request, ask questions, or provide feedback on how we can improve. 🙂 - Bonni @ Content Oyster 🩷

Woooo Congrats on launching this Bonni! We'll get it added to ProductizedHQ as (I think) the first dedicated UX as a Service Agency. Really love the landing and concept! The swapping text on the header is also the first I've seen like that. (The highlight before replacement is a great touch. Re: Feedback, my only small pieces are: (not an expert/UI person lol just thoughts.) - This middle icon felt a bit out of place/weirdly sized https://share.cleanshot.com/TLYM... - It would be neat if the previous work clients that are clickable were at the top (https://share.cleanshot.com/3067...) Instinctively, I tried to click on the first one to see the project's UX. Just some random thoughts! congrats on your launch :)
Bonni
@esus Thanks for the kind words, and I highly appreciate the feedback! They're both important callouts, so I'll address them immediately. :)

Content Oyster's approach to on-demand UX writing for web and app experiences seems like a valuable service. Best wishes on helping businesses elevate their content! How does Content Oyster ensure the quality and consistency of the UX copy it generates?
Bonni
Thanks, @manoj_11! I’ve created style guides from scratch and updated existing guides and content design systems that serve as sources of truth for a product’s tone of voice and writing standards overall, and we use these to inform writing if they’re available. We also use existing content and review what we have already to maintain writing standards.

Great Job Bonni! I know how hard it is to make UX copies, you just made that much easier,
Bonni
@tioluwani_akeju That's the goal. Thanks, Tioluwani! :)

Super proud of you @thebonnibelle - your hard work has paid off! It sounds like Content Oyster will certainly make a difference in the web or app experience - can't wait to see the results.
Bonni
@footprint_calculator thank you, Ula!

I'm curious, is this product handled manually? Have you considered implementing this function using AI?
Bonni
@bonvisions thanks Bon. We produce the work. I think a lot of UX writers and designers are using AI in some way, like for idea generation or quick content in the place of lorem ipsum. AI, as it is, isn’t accurate or readable enough to replace UX writers, but I’m a future of work proponent and stay curious about it.

Looks interesting. Can you tell me why should I choose your product instead of ChatGPT with prompt `Rewrite for UX`? I use this to create texts for my UIs and Documentation as well. What are your pros compared with AIs?
Bonni
Thanks for the question, @iamkirillart! You should choose Content Oyster instead of ChatGPT because of: - Readability. ChatGPT has patterns and frequently-used language that are easy for a software professional to identify and hard for an every day human to understand. I’ve found that ChatGPT often yields complex text strings that don’t always align with core UX writing principles. At Content Oyster, we write using best UX writing and content design practices and make sure content is digestible, relevant, and accessible. - Content gaps. Part of what we do at Content Oyster is strategic UX writing to better understand user and business pain points. Services like content audits, inventory, and analysis give a view of your entire content strategy and what can be fixed to yield improvements. This isn’t a ChatGPT capability to my knowledge. - Creativity and human touch. ChatGPT can generate a lot of UX content quickly but that’s based on its learned language. We partner with you to solve problems with a content-led, user-centered, and data-based approach and we get a good understanding of your brand, the people using your product, and your goals before so that content is unique and specific to your users. It’s a lot of context ChatGPT doesn’t get. A simpler way to say all of this is that UX writing is more than words and prompts. :)
