We built Clypt because trading automation shouldn't be a privilege reserved for hedge funds and engineers. I spent years watching friends and retail traders with brilliant ideas struggle — not because their strategies were bad, but because: • they couldn't code • building execution systems & data pipelines takes months • manual trading is stressful and emotional Meanwhile, institutions run automated systems 24/7. That gap didn’t feel fair. So we asked: What if anyone could build a quant strategy just by describing it? Not drag-and-drop. Not spreadsheets. Not hiring a team of quants & engineers. Just type the strategy. Backtest it. Deploy it to your own exchange. Clypt is our attempt to make that possible for everyone. We're still early. This is our first beta. It will break. You'll find edge cases we didn't think of. But we want to build Clypt with the community, not in a closed room.
