What do you think? …

Tomáš Pustelník
Hi everyone! Have you ever found an interesting piece of content, but saving it to Notion felt like a hassle? Switching apps to update properties, coping with only the key parts, searching for the right DB, losing precious focus and time? I'm a big Notion fan and this happens to me all the time. I couldn't find any great existing tool, that would help me solve this issue. So I have decided to build one myself. Meet Clipio. It's a browser extension (Chrome and Firefox are supported at the moment) that helps you save content to Notion in a fast and easy way. Clipio is designed to help you store information to Notion as fast and smooth as possible. And I'm super happy to share it with you today. With Clipio you can: • Create "presets" (templates for saves) to speed up the process for your common flows. • Update DB properties directly from the Clipio without the need to switch to Notion. • Save just URL, or entire article or only highlight key parts of the text on the page. • Use it to quickly any ideas or thoughts, not just links. I hope you will find it useful. Let me know if you have any questions or feedback. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Check it out and let me know what you think. Thanks a lot 🙏

Very nice idea! I would use it - but a small guide on how to create presets would be helpful because I don't know how to start here.

@denisss Hi and thanks a lot for the feedback.

To create a preset you have to follow these steps:

  1. First you need to connect your Notion workspace (since part of the preset is a target DB) - this should be the first option you see, once you login to Clipio.

  2. Then click on the Add preset option

  3. Select a target DB where you want to save the content

  4. Add a preset name (only mandatory field), optionally prefill other properties as well (you can edit the preset later)

  5. Save the preset

Optionally you can find a link to Help center in the About section inside the Clipio: https://pustelto.notion.site/Clipio-Help-Center-1e27aae4653a4206953d3b50fed9e78b.

Let me know if this helps or feel free to reach out to me, if you still struggle with this 🙏
