ClickHole looks a lot like Upworthy and they completely embrace who they are: "We strive to make sure that all of our content panders to and misleads our readers just enough to make it go viral. You see, we don’t think anything on the internet should ever have to settle for mere tens of thousands of pageviews. We believe that each and every article—whether about pop culture, politics, internet trends, or social justice—should be clicked on and shared by hundreds of millions of internet users before they can even comprehend what they just read." #respect

My brain can't handle all this awesome.
Love it. As any good literature major would be, I'm a fan of all things meta — when it's done well. Clickhole seems like the weirder, darker cousin of The Onion that's hell-bent on flipping off the rest of the media world. That's great for two reasons: A) It can make for great comedy and B) Maybe this will help mass audiences be more skeptical of the rest of the web, which they should be. Hopefully, Clickhole becomes a constant source of humor and also has a side affect of making people more conscious of how they spend their time online. I'm eager to see how the tone of the site develops. My favorite pieces so far: http://www.clickhole.com/video/w... http://www.clickhole.com/blogpos...
