I built ClearCharge after reviewing my own bank statements and realizing how many subscriptions I’d forgotten about. I didn’t want to connect my bank to another app, and I couldn’t find any good tools in Europe that worked without full bank access. ClearCharge scans PDF or CSV statements to detect recurring charges — locally, privately, with no AI, and without linking your bank account.

ClearCharge came from a personal frustration. I went through my own bank statements and realised how many subscriptions I was still paying for — some I’d completely forgotten about.
I didn’t want to connect my bank account to yet another app, or upload sensitive financial data to the cloud. So I built ClearCharge to work differently:

Detect subscriptions locally
No bank connections, no data sharing
No AI
