I'm Tarek, and I built Class Wizard after watching my wife—an English teacher—juggle multiple apps and spreadsheets every day just to track attendance, assign homework, and manage her schedule. It was frustrating to see how fragmented and complicated these basic tasks were.
As I dug deeper, I realized teachers are dealing with three big problems:
1. Everything's scattered - Teachers are constantly switching between an attendance app, a separate scheduling tool, and spreadsheets for homework tracking and grades. It's exhausting and wastes valuable time.
2. Internet dependency - Most tools assume you're always online, but classrooms often have spotty or no connectivity. Teachers need something that actually works when they need it.
3. No easy way to get insights - Teachers have all this data but can't easily make sense of it. Which students are struggling? Are there attendance patterns? You either spend hours digging through records or just go with your gut.
Class Wizard tackles all three. It's an all-in-one tool that works completely offline and syncs when you're connected. And here's the cool part: we built an AI assistant that understands your local data. Just ask questions in plain English and get instant insights—no charts to build, no formulas to write.
