Nice, reminds me of one from a few years ago where the apps were in a circle. Then you could add a second ring with more apps but the icon size was reduced. Can't recall the name, but it was discontinued.

Love this — it's a great complement to a launch like Alfred and relies on spatial memory rather than keyword lookup to accelerate app access and interaction! Combining this with Dropover could be a game changer!

I'm really excited to be launching this new launcher app for macOS! Thanks @chrismessina for hunting it! You might know me from my other macOS apps, like Rectangle, Multitouch, and Hookshot. There's already plenty of ways to put an app frontmost, but Charmstone simplifies it dramatically for me. Instead of cmd+tabbing around, moving my cursor all the way to my (hidden) dock, or fumbling through a ton of windows using mission control, I know right where I've put all the apps that I want in Charmstone. It's also incredibly convenient to have quick access to folders that I commonly use. Simply put, it's the easiest, fastest way to get what I want in front.
