There are some things in this world that pair perfectly together but don’t make any logical sense: peanut butter and bacon, cheddar cheese and caramel, french fries and milkshakes and now astrology and financial technology. Meet Bull & Moon. Bull & Moon is the first app that gives personalized stock recommendations based on your astrological compatibility with publicly traded companies. You start by creating your astrological investor profile and then using our proprietary financial astrology algorithm, you get recommended an optimal portfolio (custom to you) of six stocks, or you can see your compatibility with thousands of other companies. You’re probably asking yourself if this is for real or is just for entertainment purposes? This is 100% real, and we even have the whitepaper to prove it! You can read all six pages if you want, but here is a short summary. For a Leo born on August 18, 1997, Bull & Moon’s algorithm recommended 6 stocks. Over the duration of Q3 2019, the portfolio returned 7.47% versus a market baseline of 1.7% in the same quarter.

The first app that recommends you stocks based on made up BS.
To be fair, almost all 'apps' that recommend you stock are based on BS. This one just took this to an extreme. If they just add risk-tolerance into the recommendation, this app is probably as good as other popular ones.
@xstex 7.47% > 1.7%
@xstex @15greenberg 7.47% > 1.7% for all investors, whether or not they were born on August 18, 1997. So I'm curious as to why someone's birthdate is relevant for recommending stocks?
@xstex @15greenberg lol you are right 7.47% > 1.7% which has nothing to do with your ability to predict an outcome. Spurious correlation, small samples sizes. Either you are an idiot or a conman. THAT's the truth.
In my view, astrology has nothing to do with stocks. It is expected performance of the company in future that raises the price of stock.
@mikedane7 exactly this
@mikedane7 but it does - 7.47% > 1.7%
