BLiP

Encrypted chat that self-destructs. No accounts. No traces.

Talk. Then vanish. In a world where every message is stored forever, BLIP takes the opposite approach: your conversations never exist on any server. Create a room with one tap, share the link (no accounts needed), chat with E2E encryption, leave and the room self-destructs. Zero storage, zero trust required, zero traces.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋

I built BLIP because I was frustrated with one thing: every conversation I've ever had online still exists somewhere.

Most chats don't need to be permanent. A quick sync with a teammate, coordinating plans for tonight, a one-time discussion with someone you met online — these don't need to live on a server forever.

So I built the opposite of a messenger:

  • No accounts (seriously, zero)

  • No message storage (not even encrypted blobs)

  • E2E encrypted with military-grade cryptography

  • Room dies when everyone leaves

Think of it as opening a walkie-talkie channel — talk, then it's gone.

I'd love your feedback. What would make you actually use this?
