Bikepack Baggregator helps bikepackers compare bags, racks, and other cargo solutions for their bike using aggregated specs, a structured gear directory, and real rider setups. It takes the guesswork out of choosing essential gear, gives small gear makers a place alongside bigger brands, and helps the bikepacking community learn from each other.

Hi everyone!
I know most of you probably aren’t bikepackers (though there are more than you might expect among creative tech folks...), but I thought it might still be interesting to share what I built.
For anyone wondering, bikepacking means traveling by bicycle, often on rough roads and trails, with everything you need for days or months strapped to your bike. Yes, we do this for fun! 😅
Bikepack Baggregator grew out of the simple problem that choosing bikepacking gear is really hard. There are tons of bags, racks, and cargo solutions, they can be quite expensive, and it’s tough to know how they'll actually work out for your specific bike and your favorite terrain until you try them. Lots of great gear is made by very small companies without big marketing budgets, and there's so single place to see all the options and compare them based on the specs bikepackers care about (capacity, weight, price, etc).
So I built a tool that aggregates product specs into a structured gear directory that can be sorted, filtered, and searched. A crowdsourced database of real-world bikepacking setups, submitted by bikepackers themselves, is the experiential glue tying the product data together. Riders can browse setups to see how others have loaded their bikes and what they think of the products they use. The goal is to help riders make informed choices and buy the right gear the first time.
Even if bikepacking isn’t your thing, the approach—collecting real-world human experience, surfacing patterns in data, and making a tough problem more approachable—might resonate in other domains too.
I’d love to hear what you think, and I’m happy to answer your questions. Thanks for taking a look!
