Hi folks 👋! I follow smart stock pickers like Cathie Woods, Ryan Jacobs, Chamath Palihapitiya, etc. to see what kinds of trades they make (or the funds they run/back make) for ideas on stocks to invest in. Of course, I still do my due diligence - but with a full time job I don't have the capacity to do as much research as these folks do. So, when one of them makes a big trade, especially if it's contrarian - it really piques my interest to go deep and find out more. I check all of their ETF holdings daily, sift through trades, and see if there are any moves worth digging deeper into and am now in the process of trying to automate that. Then I thought maybe I could make a side hustle out of sharing the work I'm doing with other people! Right now, I'm posting some of the bigger findings I have to this twitter account - but the plan is to eventually have a $5/month customizable alert service where you can pick which fund managers you want to follow, when you want to be alerted (e.g. ONLY when a stock moves 1% of the entire ETF's weighting) and I'll sift through the noise to find you some signal.
