Been using Bench in 2019, really nice to have books essentially auto-tracked. A few quirks with categorizing things but I'd much rather be double-checking than doing all the work myself. I really wanted something that help me split out distinct projects, and using their Tag system it's been pretty solid. Pretty pumped to have books cooked all year. :)
This looks incredible...how do you handle things that are bought with cash in person?
@mwood23 Thanks for your interest in Bench! For our clients who have cash expenses, bookkeepers work off of receipts to ensure every transaction is covered. We make uploading receipts simple and streamlined on our platform. A phone call is usually the best way to demonstrate the process and explain our service. DM me and I'd be happy to connect you with one of our onboarding specialists if you'd like to learn more.
Do you work for clients outside the US?
Hi @ajoke_emekene Thanks for inquiring. We currently only work with businesses that are registered in and file taxes for the US. Is there anything else I can help answer for you?
By "in-house" does that mean no one can work remotely or that you never outsource? Also, forcing people to take phone calls isn't very inclusive for the differently-abled. I'm hard of hearing and you giving me no other way to get started....ouch.
Hi @carafnparrish Thank you for your feedback. All of our bookkeepers work in-house out of our North American office. While we usually find phone calls the best way to discuss business owners' bookkeeping needs, we appreciate that every business owner is unique and we are happy to help however we can. We would love to connect with you via email to answer your questions and make sure that Bench is the best fit for your business. What is the best email to reach out to? Thanks again.
Does anyone know a bench-like equivalent service for Australia or the UK?
