I built Axiom after repeatedly struggling to digitize my own handwritten STEM notes. The frustrating part wasn’t OCR accuracy — it was structure. Math becomes unreadable when alignment breaks and derivations collapse. Most of the engineering effort ended up going into post-processing, block detection, and pagination stability rather than the OCR layer itself. Still improving diagram handling and more complex chemistry-style layouts. Happy to answer any technical questions about how the structural pipeline works.
