Hey everyone—maker here. Quick context: I spent 20 hours manually researching directories before my last launch. Found mostly dead links, outdated GitHub lists, and "submit to 400 directories for $997" services. It was maddening. So I built what I needed: a curated, opinionated list of the directories that actually matter. A few things I learned while building this: The power law is brutal. Research shows 3-5 directories drive 90%+ of results. The other hundreds are noise. Our job isn't to list everything—it's to help you confidently skip the time-wasters. "Free" doesn't mean low-quality. This is Apache-2.0 licensed, costs me $20/month to run, and I'm not monetizing it. Building reputation, not revenue (for now). The indie community helped me learn—paying it forward. Freshness is the moat. GitHub lists from 2019 are useless. We verify weekly via automation and quarterly with manual checks. If a directory dies, we flag it. What I'd love feedback on: Which directories are we missing? Would you actually return to this, or bookmark and forget? (Retention is my biggest unsolved problem.) Is the UI too cluttered? I'm a backend dev and can't tell good enough from excellent—be brutal. Happy to answer any questions about the tech stack (Astrojs + Supabase), the curation process, or the market research that shaped this. Ship fast, iterate faster. Let's go 🚀

Cool idea. A suggestion for the web app.
The filters shouldn't be open by default. It's taking up a lot of the listing space.
Also, I would suggest keeping the filters on the left section
