Hey Product Hunt! 👋 Fung here, product manager at Authgear. We created Authgear ONCE after years of feeling boxed in by SaaS IAM pricing, vendor lock-in, and endless monthly bills. (Auth0,… 👀) If you’ve ever wished you could just buy your authentication solution once, own your data, and host it on your own terms—this is for you. Authgear ONCE is a fully self-hosted IAM solution with all the essentials: - Self-hosted, Docker-based deployment - One-time payment (no subscriptions, no hidden fees) - SSO (OAuth, SAML) - Passwordless login - 2FA (TOTP, SMS) - Social login - User sessions & revocation - Audit logs - Webhooks & access control - Admin portal + APIs for full control We’re most proud of how Authgear ONCE empowers developers and teams to truly own their authentication without compromise—whether you’re building a side project, an internal tool, or a long-term product. We’re a small but passionate team, and we built Authgear ONCE for builders like you who want simplicity, transparency, and control. Shoutout to Ben Cheng, Louis & Tung, who make this launch happen. And huge thanks to Jimmy for supporting our launch. Would love to hear your questions, feedback, or stories about IAM pain points! Check us out at authgear.com or drop a comment below—let’s chat! 🚀

So relieved to ditch subscription fees with Authgear ONCE! The policy setup is beginner-friendly, though I wish their deployment docs were more detailed.
