Honestly, I respect the decision to keep this simple instead of trying to turn a soundboard into a "creator platform" with subscriptions, accounts, and cloud features nobody asked for. The open-source + no tracking approach is also a nice touch. For something that's literally just supposed to play sounds through your mic, that's exactly what I'd expect.
Curious... what was the hardest part technically? Getting low latency, virtual microphone compatibility, or making it work consistently across Discord, Zoom, Teams, and games?

The biggest technical challenge was definitely making virtual microphone routing work reliably across different apps and operating systems. Every platform handles audio devices a little differently, so getting a consistent, low-latency experience on Discord, Zoom, Teams, games, and other apps took a lot of testing and fine-tuning. We also leveraged soundboard drivers to help with the audio routing and compatibility side, which made it much easier to deliver a smooth experience across different setups.
Love it. Global hotkeys and dedicated volume sliders are fantastic ๐

macOS support isn't available yet, but it's definitely on our roadmap and we're actively working on it. ๐
The hotkey setup was surprisingly intuitive, and latency was basically nonexistent when I tested it in a Discord call. Definitely bookmarking this for streams.
