Really interesting idea.
It reminds me of that gun that would aim and shoot for you - kinda feels like cheating.
I'm hesitant because with photography, it's the journey, not the destination that I care about. My hobby is in the process of doing it myself, not in the final picture. Though, I can imagine this being a great tool for those projects where you just need the picture and aren't as interested in the project.
Is this something that requires an internet connection to use? Lots of the more interesting shots I've taken have been in places very much "off grid".
Smart DSLR camera anyone? 😎
I know a few photography buffs who were annoyed by how good smartphone cameras have become. Arsenal could make their investment in camera and photography knowledge worth it!
Today's DSLR and mirrorless cameras have amazing optics and sensors… But they do very little to actually help you take a good photo.
Arsenal is the world’s first intelligent assistant for DSLR and mirrorless cameras. Ultralight hardware lets you wirelessly control your camera with an intuitive iOS or Android app. And advanced machine learning algorithms help you get the perfect shot every time.
Arsenal just launched on Kickstarter, and their campaign video will inspire a severe case of gear lust in even the most jaded photographer. It also does photo stacking and killer timelapse.

This looks awesome! How does it handle sports photography? I shoot high speed motorsport events so would be great to know how it can handle this.
Thank you to Hiten for hunting us! We are excited to share Arsenal with the Product Hunt community!
If you’re interested in learning more, check out the video on our Kickstarter campaign. If you have any questions, I’m happy to answer them.
This looks super cool, great work. However, I enjoy faffing around with settings and taking the same shot a bunch of times. I can see this being really useful in situations where I don't have the time to mess around I guess.

This device does not worth its price. First, it's still kind of a prototype. 5min after receiving it, I had to put it in my freezer to cool it down and be able to update a firmware. That's crazy for a 150€ device. Also, using it in handheld mode does not make any improvement on the automatic mode, absolutely useless for someone who knows a bit about photography. Regarding tripod mode, it an be interesting for long exposure shot, however the software uses a lot of battery and take a lot of time to take shot, so at the end, it's better to do it yourself. Don't spend your money on this device, it does not worth it.

Pros:Make long exposure shot easier.
Cons:Not better than automatic mode on my canon
