sms as the interface is bold. we went voice and the latency floor + interrupt handling was brutal. curious if sms's text-only constraint solved more UX problems than it created.

We've experimented with text-based workflows for client communication at our B2B services firm and simplicity is addictive right up until you need something slightly complex: a custom payment term, a contract exception. What's the fallback when a text interaction needs to escalate beyond what the system can handle? Is there a graceful handoff or does the user hit a wall?
