Rafflecopter, a competitor in this space wrote an interesting blog post here: http://blog.rafflecopter.com/201... about Amazon's move.
It's interesting that Amazon isn't allowing contests to be embedded into sites, as most contests I see online seem to be bloggers trying to drive additional traffic.

Smart move by Amazon -- and they're the only ones who can make it this easy to choose, pay for, and ship a huge range of prizes.
I know Amazon isn't known for their design, but their giveaway page is pretty atrocious.
