I first tried to get my own allotment back in 2018, but other than the waiting lists being longer than a decade, the process to even try to acquire one was painful. I created AllotMe to help solve for these problems, and I knew I there would be plenty of people around the UK (and the world) that were looking for a plot of their own. By the time we launched this year, I had my own garden already so I became the platform's first Host.
