I’m the maker of AllergoSafe. This project actually started because a friend of mine was complaining about how much time they spent scanning ingredient lists while shopping online. They were using Ctrl+F on every single page, but the problem is that allergens are often hidden under weird technical names. I thought it would be a cool project to build something that does the searching automatically. How it works: You just pick what you're allergic to, and the extension highlights those ingredients (and all their synonyms) the second a page loads. I’m really just looking for some feedback to see if this is actually helpful or if there are any specific allergies I should add next. Let me know what you think!
