Try the free version (aithing.dev) with your own API key. I plan to keep the BYOK (bring your own key) version free forever. Looking for a lot of feedback to improve this. Thanks

Four focuses of AI Thing:

1. Privacy-First by Design
No continuous capture. No background audio recordings. Nothing leaves your system unless you explicitly ask it to. Before any context (like a spreadsheet in the video) is shared, users see exactly what’s being sent.

2. Understands Your Screen @this
AI Thing sees what’s on your screen (only when you ask), understands it, and takes action—no manual copy-pasting. Try and say something like: "Email everyone in @this sheet, mark the rows green, and set a reminder."

3. Runs Complex Tasks in Parallel
Open multiple tabs, each running complex, multi-agent workflows with isolated memory and context. Where waiting isn’t an option—AI Thing is.

4. Made for Everyone
Not just another dev tool. AI Thing is built for people in any profession. With seamless one-click integrations, users can pick the capabilities they want—then just ask it to do the thing.

What a great product! It would be great to see an MCP store where you can easily add new MCP servers, and even add multiple MCP servers per agent!

Nishant Hada
@lsidoree thanks a lot, yes exactly that’s the plan. But also do it a bit differently where MCP is not a term that anyone sees on the UI it’s all capabilities “google sheets” “jira” and then in backend it could be a single mcp server with filtered tools or multiple mcp server making that one capability. It’s all about abstraction for the non developer users

This is so cool!

read your documentation about Using own Antropic Key!

but can i use my other LLM key?

Nishant Hada
@purvamjoshi thanks, right now the mcp setup is tied very closely to anthropic but next I’ll decouple that and add support for more llms. Try out the current version and I will update you when we have support for more llms
AJ Batac

Looks like a solid product with tons of potential. Keep it up! Congrats.

@ajbatac thanks

Nishant Hada

@david_nyuwin thanks, i used supermemoryai/apple-mcp and they have the instructions below in the readme to install, but I'd be happy to provide detailed steps, can you please email at help@aithing.dev
