I'm Rajat, a solo dev from India!
The whole idea for AI Diary stemmed from major FOMO honestly. I had to dip my toes in the AI pool - but I knew right from the start that I didn't want to make a simple wrapper over ChatGPT. I thought a lot about it's possible applications and came up with AI Diary.
AI Diary is like your daily digital diary. However, as the name suggests obviously, there's a lot of AI involved! There are lots of folks who write diaries or note down thoughts just to express themselves. This attempts to take that process a step further with intelligent, contextual responses to help you write more, gain better insights, and even reduce stress when required.
AI Diary is like your personal journal buddy with a brain! Apart from the conversations you have with your diary, there are a ton of more features involved:
- Summary Generator: get concise summaries of your day
- Poem Generator: convert your day into a fun poem
- Writing Analysis: Let AI analyse and rate your writing on various parameters
- Playlist Generator: Based on your journal entry, AI will suggest a playlist
- Mood Analysis: Capture the predominant mood throughout your day
... and more!

Really cool concept. I have really enjoyed conversing with personalised and soothing types of AI like https://heypi.com/talk. This has so many more features and it is so interesting! I do wish it could fit in more seamlessly with the tools I already use however as that would allow me to actually use it more. For example, I wish I could embed it into notion so that I can write my entry in daily and stay within my OS.

not sure if you coined it but the AI journaling sounds like a cool phrase 😎 congratulations on the launch. how can it be useful for students? im looking for a similar tool but for my students. thanks for making and sharing with us.
@naveed_rehman thank you!!! there are a lot of students who have already registered (.edu domains). I've made sure the diary is smart enough to handle 'controversial' conversations. but for students a lot more safeguards can be put into place.

The idea is really good. I write diary almost every day to record my feelings.
AI dairy can help me reflect and think clearly. it's a shame that the price is too high for me, and I haven't tried ant premium services before it asked me to pay.
