We're a team of two, and even between us, Codex and Claude get used in completely different ways. One of us grows a single conversation for hours. The other fires off ten short prompts and moves on. A friend has five agents running while he gets coffee. Same tools, completely different players.
So we turned that into a game. AI Class reads your last 30 days of Codex and Claude Code logs and gives you one of 16 RPG classes, with six stats: volume, autonomy, chat length, context size, cache reuse and parallelism. Knight, Ninja, Alchemist, Guild Master... you get the idea. We built it with Codex on GPT-6 Astra, which also drew all 16 characters.
We put it on X yesterday. In the first day, 339 people ran the scan and 132 of them posted their card. More than one in three.

The best part was watching people argue about whether their class fit them. That's why we're here today.
A few practical notes: it works with Codex and Claude Code. You paste one prompt, your agent aggregates the logs locally, and only the totals are sent. I’m one half of the Kanary team, and I created the visual world of AI Class, from the characters to the landing page.
Creating these characters was honestly so much fun. I loved imagining how different ways of working with AI could take the form of RPG characters. When they came to life, they turned out even more charming than I expected.
And getting to create ninjas and samurai? Definitely a childhood dream come true 😂
I also love that your character comes from how you actually work with your agents. Seeing those patterns turn into an RPG character is a fun way to meet another version of yourself.
I’d love for people to come back every month, too. As your workload and the way you collaborate with your agents evolve, your character might evolve with you. It would be fun to look back and see the different versions of yourself along the way.
Seeing people try AI Class and share their characters on X has already brought me so much joy.
