ex-Gartner analyst here. This is a very good. Enterprise needs and priorities are often misunderstood or not understood at all by start-ups. "Solving a problem" is, unfortunately, just not enough to sell to enterprises. You need many other technological and non-technological aspects (security, data protection, openness, and more) for enterprises to pay attention. If you can help start-ups get a leg-up, that is great. Imho, you may benefit by offering your start-up customers templates or processes that make it easy for them to understand what they will need for the segments they choose to serve.

We integrated WorkOS to integrate different SAML services for one of the enterprise products. It is a great product that helps us integrate various Auth options with minimal effort. Their documentation is great and makes developers life pretty easy.

Solves a core problem with scaling almost any SAAS product upmarket. SAML & SCIM are table stakes for enterprise accounts. My last company had multiple dedicated engineers on our enterprise identity team. Also anybody on CX teams who've helped customers get their ADFS etc. setup knows how much of a pain that is. We use WorkOS at Flatfile and I'm really excited that future SAAS companies like ours won't have to deal with the massive costs and long tail frustrations that come with building and maintaining this stuff. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
