We've heard that "timing the market" never works and that it's often more beneficial to simply invest into an ETF instead. How does Candlestick have a leg-up over current financial products like ETFs?
@lienchueh Hi Lien, great question. I actually agree that "timing the market" is really difficult and often not worth the trouble. That's why our AI is designed for long-term investing — "buy and hold" type strategies that capitalize on the fundamentals of a given business rather than the day-to-day fluctuations of the market.
As for Candlestick's advantage over ETFs, we believe that investing in the S&P is great, but it's generic advice which is not necessarily best for everyone. For example, if you are looking for higher returns and willing to accept more risk, you should be able to do that. Our AI advisor allows you to construct a portfolio that's specific to your needs.
