In fact, nearly half of all ER visits for children's fever are avoidable. Why? Because we as parents have an innate, visceral fear that the child might suffer serious long-term damage from the fever that may come to affect the rest of their lives. And because the consequences are so dire, it also puts tremendous pressure on us as parents to make the right call to preserve their future. So, what's the solution?
