We built Kite to be the ultimate AI assistant for Gmail, designed to boost productivity and streamline your workflow. Here are some key features: 1. Find emails instantly with natural language queries (e.g., "Show me Chris's pricing email from last week") 2. Reply quickly with one-click drafts and auto-generated thread summaries 3. Automate calendar management by adding events from emails without leaving Gmail
4. Ask questions in natural language and receive answers based on your emails
5. Automatically apply labels based on your inbox
As we're still in beta, your input is crucial in shaping the product. I'd love for you to try it out and share your thoughts.
Important Note: You'll likely see a security warning when connecting your Gmail. That’s because, as a bootstrapped start-up, we haven’t completed Google's Security Assessment (CASA) yet. This is a paid audit now required for OAuth-based apps (used to be free via PwC). Once done, it'll certify our app officially for Google’s data security standards, but in the meantime, Google shows the warning by default, while allowing our extension on the Chrome Store.
@joey_zhu_seopage_ai Hi Joey. I’m sure you could imagine how much time people spend digging through emails. Even if it’s minimal, checking your email a few times a day definitely adds up. Please try it and we’d love to hear your feedback!
Kite looks like a great way to take control of email overload. I’m always on the lookout for tools that save time without adding complexity—this one sounds promising. Congrats on the launch 🚀
Congrats @ashtonp_usekite@krishj_usekite@logank_usekite This is good. I am already using the Google's email assistant that they provide with the official email though. But I like Kite. Can we access it from anywhere? Especially, can we create/schedule events on our calendar directly from other website by clicking on the extension? That would be a very helpful.
@lakshya_singh Hey Lakshya. Thanks for the feedback - although we currently only support adding calendar events on Gmail, we could definitely add that functionality. We’d love for you to try the extension and would love to hear your feedback. - Ashton

@ashtonp_usekite Thats true Ashton. I use a chrome extension to manage my calnedar as it makes it easy to add or create new events. Would love to see this feature in Kite. Btw, we launched Levio today and your support would mean everything!

9 hours saved weekly sounds amazing! How does Kite's AI handle nuanced email contexts where tone matters (e.g., client negotiations vs. team banter)? Can we train it with examples of our preferred response styles?
