The language learning market is flooded with apps that prioritize entertainment over education. These apps focus on keeping you "engaged" through streaks, badges, and gamification while losing sight of what actually matters: helping you learn a language.

We believe there's a better way. Bubblegum is built BY language learners, FOR language learners. We understand the difference between being entertained and being educated, between extrinsic motivation that fades and intrinsic motivation that drives real progress.

At Bubblegum, we believe language learning should work differently. Every design decision we make is guided by one simple question: Does this help learners actually learn a language?

We start with what science knows works—comprehensible input through reading and listening—and supercharge it with AI that adapts to your interests and explains things clearly. Our goal is to eventually expand this foundation to make all the enjoyable parts of language learning easier: watching dramas, reading news, having conversations. We focus on reducing the annoying friction and amplifying what makes learning genuinely rewarding.
