Contract Intelligence Agent

As the part-owner of a small analytics firm, I was constantly combing through contracts, scopes of work, non-disclosure agreements, and other legal documents. I understood very little of what I was reading and, consequently, had little trust in the documents.

Instead of having to constantly look up each legal clause or word, or wonder about the risks we might be facing, we decided to build a hybrid AI agent and application. This tool is designed to provide at least a cursory understanding of legal documentation and some of the risks involved. We acknowledge that this does not replace sound legal expertise from a qualified professional. But it does provide a small or medium-sized business owner with a general understanding of the issues.

Recognizing that we are not alone and that other small business owners often cannot afford on-staff legal advice. We decided to launch the Contract Intelligence Agent (or CIA) with the hope of solving one small but very important problem.
