Hiring is broken. Traditional hiring is inconsistent, biased, costly, and time-consuming. Why should it take months to fill a vacancy when it can be done in just a few hours? I personally faced many challenges while applying for internships during my third year at IIT. Recruiters often made biased decisions based on personal connections rather than skills. This experience inspired me to eliminate bias from the recruitment process by leveraging large language models (LLMs). LLMs are significantly smarter and more consistent than traditional hiring managers. That's when I built Easecruit — an AI-powered recruitment platform.
