Shots Studio was born out of a real problem I kept running into — constantly losing or misplacing important screenshots when I needed them most. Existing apps either weren’t open-source or didn’t respect user privacy. So I built Shots Studio — a lightweight, open-source screenshot manager where you stay in control. Why open-source? Because screenshots can contain sensitive personal data. You shouldn’t have to trust a black-box app with that. With Shots Studio, you can audit the code, contribute, or even self-host if you want.
