Helly & I built Approval AI because buying our first homes was way harder than it should’ve been.
The mortgage process felt confusing, scattered, and more expensive than we expected.
We spent hours re-uploading documents to different portals. We didn’t know how to compare offers, so we stuck with the first lender we talked to. Our phones got flooded with spam. And we signed paperwork we didn’t fully understand, just hoping we were making the right call.
We knew there had to be a better way. So we built it.

We’ve studied how different lenders think, what they prioritize (like income stability vs. credit score vs. asset reserves), and even how they respond to negotiation. Some lenders care more about debt-to-income ratios. Others might give better rates to borrowers with high liquidity or a relationship with the bank. Our AI adjusts the application, messaging, and even timing to match each lender’s style. Personalization like this is what helps borrowers actually get better offers, not just more of them.
