At our previous company, engineers shipped code during their lunch break on Cursor, while the rest of the team literally burnt out from grinding pointless manual work.

That didn’t sit right with us.

We built Den because everyone deserves 10x leverage on their time.

Den is a beautiful union of Slack/Notion that brings your agents, teammates, and tools together in one place, and makes it dead simple to create AI agents.

Our dream is to deliver billions of agents into the workforce and unlock the most productive/abundant era in human history.

There is canvas in slack, but it doesn't really make me feel like the chats and the docs are connected.

But Den makes them synchronized, so that the workers feel like they're sharing their brains!

Congratulations :)

Linus Talacko

@pritraveler thanks so much Yong Woo Shin!!

Justin Lee

@pritraveler Exactly. I'm glad you can see our vision! Thank you so much Yong.

Henriëtta van Niekerk

@pritraveler I wholeheartedly agree there, the slack canvas system feels kind of questionable and jarring at best, it's meant to be efficient but.. isn't? Like at all? I'm so excited that Den just makes everything nice to use again, it's such a neat idea that they've come up with

DEN: A Revolutionary Workspace That Will Transform How You Work

Having spent the last month using DEN, I can confidently say it's one of the most transformative productivity tools I've encountered in years. This YC-backed company has created something truly special - a platform that seamlessly blends communication, documentation, and AI agents into one cohesive workspace.

The Perfect Union of Slack and Notion

What immediately struck me about DEN was how it elegantly combines the best aspects of Slack's real-time communication with Notion's organizational capabilities. The interface is clean and intuitive, making the learning curve surprisingly gentle despite the platform's powerful capabilities.

Unlike other tools that feel cobbled together, DEN was clearly designed from the ground up with a unified vision. Everything feels intentional and purposeful. The workspace flows naturally from conversations to documents to automated workflows without the jarring context switches we've grown accustomed to in our fragmented digital workspaces.

AI Agents That Actually Deliver

Let's talk about what truly sets DEN apart: their implementation of AI agents. While many platforms are racing to add AI features, DEN has created something that feels genuinely useful rather than gimmicky.

Creating custom agents in DEN is remarkably straightforward. The platform guides you through the process with clear prompts and templates, making it accessible even to team members without technical backgrounds. Within minutes, I had created agents to:

Summarize lengthy discussion threads and extract action items

Monitor project channels and compile daily progress reports

Automatically organize and tag incoming documents

Create first drafts of routine communications

These agents consistently delivered high-quality results that required minimal human refinement. The time savings were immediate and substantial.

A New Paradigm for Productivity

What's most impressive about DEN is how it fundamentally changes your relationship with work. By automating routine tasks and streamlining workflows, it creates space for deeper, more meaningful work.

This isn't just about saving time—it's about reclaiming the mental bandwidth that's typically consumed by context switching and administrative overhead. With DEN, I found myself able to focus on creative problem-solving and strategic thinking in ways that weren't possible before.

The founders, Linus and Justin, clearly understand the pain points of modern knowledge work at a deep level. Their vision of delivering "10x leverage on time" isn't hyperbole—it's precisely what DEN provides.

Seamless Team Adoption

Introducing new tools often comes with significant adoption challenges, but DEN handles this exceptionally well. The platform's intuitive design and thoughtful onboarding process made it easy for our entire team to get up to speed quickly.

What's particularly valuable is how DEN adapts to different work styles. Team members can engage with the platform in ways that suit their preferences while still maintaining cohesion across the organization. This flexibility significantly reduced the resistance that typically accompanies new tool adoption.

Beyond Productivity: Creating a Healthier Work Culture

Perhaps the most profound impact of DEN has been on our team's overall well-being. By eliminating much of the "grinding pointless manual work" that the founders reference, DEN has noticeably reduced burnout across our organization.

Team members report feeling more engaged and fulfilled, with the platform enabling them to focus on work that actually matters. The efficiency gains haven't led to cramming in more work—they've created space for more thoughtful, sustainable productivity.

Continuous Innovation

In the relatively short time we've been using DEN, the platform has already evolved in meaningful ways. The development team is clearly attentive to user feedback, with regular updates that address pain points and expand functionality.

This rapid iteration inspires confidence that DEN will continue to improve and adapt to changing workplace needs. The roadmap they've shared suggests exciting developments ahead that will further enhance the platform's capabilities.

The Future of Work is Here

DEN represents nothing less than a new vision for how work should function in the digital age. It recognizes that true productivity isn't about doing more things—it's about doing the right things while eliminating unnecessary friction.

The founders' dream of "delivering billions of agents into the workforce and unlocking the most productive/abundant era in human history" might sound ambitious, but after experiencing DEN firsthand, it feels entirely achievable.

For teams struggling with fragmented tools, communication overload, and the burden of repetitive tasks, DEN offers a compelling solution that delivers on its promises. It's not just another productivity tool—it's a fundamental reimagining of the digital workspace.

If you're looking to transform how your team works, eliminate burnout, and reclaim hours of your day for meaningful work, DEN deserves your immediate attention. It's rare to find a product that so completely delivers on its promise to revolutionize work, but DEN has done exactly that.

@finnlay_morcombe thanks Finnlay! Appreciate you taking the energy and effort to write this post out :)

Justin Lee

@finnlay_morcombe Appreciate you handwriting this entire post, and definitely not generating it on Den

Henriëtta van Niekerk

@finnlay_morcombe I’ve been waiting for something like this. It’s not just “another tool” and it feels like someone finally got it. Everything just flows?? The AI agents actually do things, and the whole experience feels like the future we were promised. Big W all around.

Tom van der Linden

Damn this is sick, the founders seem pretty cool too. Great reason to get rid of Slack, shit sucks.

Linus Talacko

@tomvanderlinden Thanks Tom! Glad to have you as one of our earliest users :)

Tom van der Linden

@linus_talacko1 it's been an absolute please Linus!

@tomvanderlinden Great, that's what we are doing

Tom van der Linden

@karan_vaidya your CEO must be pretty smart ;)

Henriëtta van Niekerk

@tomvanderlinden I just started using slack this year since some of my courses demanded it, but now I want my profs and clubs to all switch to this, the vibes on slack are not it. Hopefully this becomes widely adopted ^^

Tom van der Linden

@henrietta_vanniekerk vibes are everything, and the den vibes are good vibes. Tell your profs to wake up!

Smith Suth

I love Notion. I love Slack. This looks like such a great combination. Congrats on the launch! :-)

Justin Lee

A harmony of two legendary products. thank you @smith_at_atlas

Linus Talacko

@smith_at_atlas thanks so much Smith! We'd love for you to try it out! Looking forward to your launch :)

Karan Vaidya

@smith_at_atlas It's much better than Slack.

Aarush Kukreja
Henriëtta van Niekerk

@smith_at_atlas Same though, but Slack was more of a like/tolerate than a love. Den looks like something I'd actually enjoy using for extended periods of time with my classmates and team, which Slack is not lol

Supa Liu

Den brings Cursor-like power to knowledge work—streamlining how teams search, think, and collaborate.

Linus Talacko

@supa_l It does! Thanks for the comment Supa!

Justin Lee

@supa_l We sure do! Thank you for the support Supa
