Kazu Navi (かずナビ)

こんにちは Product Hunt! 👋 I’m super excited (and very nervous) to share something I’ve been building in my free time and will be my first solo product launch of any kind — a tool to help people understand Japanese more naturally and deeply. I built this because I’ve always struggled with things like: 〇 "How do I say 3:45 PM in Japanese?" 〇 "What counter do I need to use for shopping bags?" 〇 "Why is this sentence structured like this?" And when my girlfriend (a linguist) and I started digging into grammar more seriously, we wanted tools that not only gave answers, but explained why. So this app was born. 💡 What it does: Converters: Instantly turn numbers, times, dates, durations and counters into Japanese (with romaji, kana, and kanji) — perfect for daily practice or quick lookups. Natural Translate: Write in English and get a natural Japanese equivalent, with insight into how it's typically phrased and distinctions between appropriate contexts to use it in.
