I’m Jerry, founder of 50 Feet Away.
I built this because I was frustrated with how disconnected social apps feel from real life. We scroll endlessly, but we rarely know who’s actually around us.
50 Feet Away is a proximity-based social discovery app. Instead of swiping, you can see who’s nearby at bars, restaurants, events, hotels, and more.
It’s not a dating app — it’s more like a social awareness tool for the real world.
The hardest problem we’re working on right now is density. Like any location-based network, it’s only powerful when your area is active.
