Hey Product Hunt, I'm Sourish, the maker of OCDify. Making it free is the biggest change in this release: you can organize one folder with up to four categories, with no trial expiring.
The free version includes on-device AI sorting, automatic organization, extension rules, custom destinations, exact duplicate cleanup, and undo.
I've also been working on the practical controls around the AI. Reading a document helps figure out where it belongs, but sometimes you already know: put .jpg and .png files in Pictures/Downloaded Images, keep travel documents in your existing Travel folder, or find the identical files taking up space.
I added simple rules alongside the local model because you shouldn't need another app just for basic sorting. Finding exact duplicates belongs in that same workflow too: keeping a folder organized also means dealing with the extra copies.
A one-time Full Unlock adds unlimited folders and categories, Smart Rename, and on-device OCR for scanned documents. There is no subscription. File analysis happens on your Mac.
