Why: small businesses lose calls constantly. The clinic is busy, the plumber is under a sink, and the caller just rings the next number. Most AI receptionists are English-only, and in Spain and many US markets half your callers aren't.
What Remute does: it answers your phone 24/7 in English or Spanish (and switches mid-call if the caller does), books the appointment, takes the caller's details and emails or texts you a summary. It tells callers it's an AI assistant.
How you start: you don't change your number. You forward your current line to a Remute number, verify it with a code, and you're live in minutes.
What's in it today:
• Appointments with your opening hours and holidays, synced to Google Calendar so it never offers a slot you've already taken
• Warm transfer to a person for urgent calls, with a spoken summary
• A small built-in CRM: contacts, calls, transcripts, tasks, team roles
• REST API and signed webhooks if you want to plug it into your own tools

What it doesn't do yet (being upfront): no HIPAA, and no dedicated local number per business, since calls come in through a shared number you forward to. Outlook and HubSpot are on the list but not built.
