Memorias turns spoken life stories into a finished memoir book. You just talk: an AI biographer asks warm follow-up questions, session by session. Memorias transcribes everything, maps the people, places and years into a life timeline, and assembles chapters in your own words. Nothing invented: every chapter is checked against what you actually said. Add your photos, then export EPUB, PDF or DOCX. Pay-per-use credits, no subscription.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I’m Rostyslav, co-founder and CTO of Memorias.
Most people have a life worth writing down, and almost nobody does it. Writing a book is hard. Talking is easy. So we built Memorias around talking: you speak with an AI biographer, it asks follow-up questions like a good interviewer would, and over time your stories become a real book.
One rule shaped everything we built: nothing invented. A lot of AI writing tools “improve” your story with scenes and feelings you never described. For a memoir, that’s the opposite of what a family wants. Memorias stays close to your own words and checks every chapter against what you actually said. If you didn’t say much about a period of your life, that chapter stays short. The biographer then asks you more about it.
I’m using it to write my own memoir, which is how we find most of what still needs fixing.
What you get today:
• voice interviews with an AI biographer
• people, places and a life timeline you can correct
• chapters with your own photos
• EPUB, PDF and DOCX exports
• pay-per-use credits, no subscription
What’s not there yet: printed books and a mobile app. Both are on our list.
I’d love your honest feedback, especially on the first interview session. Did the questions feel natural? Where did it lose you?
P.S. The voice in the demo video is mine, but it's an AI clone made with ElevenLabs, not a live recording. It felt right: Memorias is about keeping a person's own voice, so I tried it on myself first.
