Launch Team

Hi Product Hunt š Monica here, from Wishes.
Wishes is a wishlist app for birthdays, holidays, weddings, any occasion. Today we're launching Wishes MCP, a remote MCP server that brings your wishlist into AI tools.
Gift ideas usually come up mid-conversation: you're asking ChatGPT or Claude what to get, what to cook, what to read. Now those ideas go straight onto your wishlist with store links, without leaving the chat. Share the list, and family and friends book gifts so nobody buys the same thing twice.
Set-up takes a minute. We have guides for ChatGPT (Plus with Developer mode) and Claude (works on the free plan). Any other MCP client connects the same way: one URL, sign in with OAuth, done.
What it can and can't do: it only sees your own lists, it never shows who booked what, and it can't buy anything. It's free.
Three things to try:
⢠"Add 10 gift ideas for my son's 7th birthday to my wishlist. He loves dinosaurs."
⢠"I love coffee, hiking and crime novels. Add 5 gift ideas to my wishlist."
⢠"Look at my wishlist and add 5 more ideas like these."
We're a small family team in Denmark, no investors. Wishes exists because gift-giving in our own families kept producing duplicates. I'd love to hear what you'd want your AI to do with a wish list next, and what breaks when you try it.
