Hi Product Hunt, I'm Joëlle. I build three apps on my own. I had no idea what all my AI tokens added up to. In dollars, or in water. On the Mac, a small free companion reads the local logs of Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. It takes the token counts and turns them into dollars and liters of water. Conversation content is never read. The dollars are what your tokens would cost at API prices, not your subscription bill. The water comes from the electricity behind them, at about 4.9 liters per kWh (Berkeley Lab, 2024). My own last 30 days: 272 M. You can add friends and compare your month. On iPhone, Unprompt reads Screen Time to count how often you use your AI apps. Work hours are shown separately. It blocks nothing. Today's tokens and cost are free. the dollars number is honest about being API-price-not-your-bill, good call calling that out explicitly. the water number worries me more though - 4.9 L/kWh is one fixed average, but actual water use swings hard by which datacenter handled the request, what cooling design it uses, even the season. a token run in a region with free-air cooling could be near zero and one in a water-cooled summer-peak facility could be way above average, and the app has no way to know which one actually served you. so the dollar figure is a real lower bound and the water figure is more like a vibe. did you consider showing a range instead of one number, or flagging that it's a rough average rather than presenting both numbers with the same confidence
