We've spent a year building voice AI agents for enterprises
retail, insurance, appliances, e-commerce. The agents got good. Natural, fast, handle interruptions, stay on script.
They s till could not reliably get an email address.

Three attempts, a frustrated customer, and a record that goes into the CRM wrong. Same story with policy numbers, alphanumeric IDs, pincodes, anything that needs a photo. The fallback everyone uses is "no problem, I'll text you a link after the call" and then the customer hangs up and the intent cools.
So we stopped trying to make voice capture the uncapturable.
