This is the first "usage tracker" I've seen that leans into the fun instead of dashboards - the AIM away-message nostalgia for "your AI clocked out" is a genuinely funny hook. Curious how you're pulling the allowance numbers though, since neither Claude Code nor Codex expose that over a public API as far as I know - polling local usage logs, or something else?

Fair enough if it's not public - makes sense you'd want to keep that under wraps a bit. Either way the buddy-list framing works even without knowing the mechanism, that's probably the smarter product decision anyway.
