Plancove started because we kept missing the small things: a theme day, a form due Friday, an early pickup buried in paragraph four of a school email. Two parents, three inboxes, and one shared calendar nobody updated in time.
So we built the tool we wanted. Share or forward a school email, screenshot, PDF, or app notice, and Plancove finds the dates, deadlines, payments, forms, and things to bring. You check each detail against the original message before approving it. Then it becomes a shared family plan with reminders and preparation checklists.
A few choices mattered to us:
- Nothing reaches your plan without your approval.
- No school integration or inbox access. Plancove works with the messages your school already sends.
- Shared images and PDFs are read on your iPhone; only their text is sent for processing. Your messages aren’t used to train AI models.
- When a school sends a correction, you review the change before it updates the existing plan.
Plancove is available for iPhone, with family sharing, a private forwarding address, and the option to add approved items to Apple Calendar and Reminders. There’s a 14-day free trial, and one subscription covers the household.
